About Jared
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jared has been a musician for over 25 years. He’s released three EPs as a solo artist under his name. For the past 12 years, Jared has been a freelance composer for film, television and web content.
He starred in John The Carpenter (2015), for which he won Best Composer for a Short Film at Other Worlds Austin Festival. Jared was also nominated for Best Score at NOLA Horror Film Fest as well as Best Original Score at Nevermore Film Festival.
Projects that he has contributed to have appeared in domestic festivals such as Dances with Films, New York Television Festival and Nightmare Film Festival as well as international festivals such as Soho Horror Festival, Sci-Fi London and Calgary Underground Film Festival amongst many others.
