About Jared

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jared has been a musician for over 25 years. Currently studying orchestral composition at the Juilliard Extension, he has released three EPs as a solo artist and brings over 12 years of experience as a freelance composer for film, television, and web content.

Jared composed the score for John The Carpenter (2015), for which he won Best Composer for a Short Film at Other Worlds Austin Festival. He was also nominated for Best Score at NOLA Horror Film Fest as well as Best Original Score at Nevermore Film Festival.

Projects that he has contributed to have appeared in domestic festivals such as Dances with Films, New York Television Festival, and Nightmare Film Festival, as well as international festivals such as Soho Horror Festival, Sci-Fi London, and Calgary Underground Film Festival amongst many others.
